I have found a 2002 Calabria Cal-Air Pro-V for 28800. It has less than 60 hours on it. Only thing it doesn't have is a tower. Think this is a good deal?

Do the 02's have the pure vert wake system?

I believe they do... not positive but I know that 03's and newer do.

See if you can get the new Cal Air tower mounted to it

I have an 02 and yes they have the "Pervert" system. It's only 700#. I run mine with a 250# bag in each rear trunk and a 350# bag in the bow aisle. I think with the hours yes that is a good deal. Like closedtoe says get a Cal Air tower for it and you're set. Take it for a test drive I think you'll be happy with it.

Thanks guys, I'm guessing it does have the purevert system because he said it empties and fills within 10 seconds. He was saying the ballast was 1300lbs, but I'm sure I'll add more anyways. Do I have to order the Cal Air tower from factory?

Seth the Pure Vert ballast is only 700#. Maybe if you factor in the 65 gallon fuel tank you could probably factor some of that as ballast. I dont know what gas weighs a gallon but I think 8# per gallon would be a safe figure seeing how water is 8.8# per gallon. You can look on their website. It does fill in less than a minute and empties in roughly 10 seconds. Not sure where you would get a cal air tower. I would just order an oem tower, like what they put on the newer Cally's.

I used to have an 02 Pro V and yes it has the pure vert balast. It had a great wake and I would purchase another one. 28 grand id not a bad deal at all with only 60 hours I would buy it. A tower sjouldnt cost more then a couple grand installed. Get the new Pro V tower and nobody will know its an 02.
