Jeff Whalers is Soulcraft Wakesurfing
Pretty stoked that Jeff has embraced his move to Boise and is still pursuing his passion building boards for water.
He is a true master of his craft and a genuine dude as well. I had the pleasure of filming him for a bit as he gets some boards dialed in for Worlds next week. Check it out! Cheers! <iframe src="http://player.vimeo.com/video/49957919" width="500" height="281" frameborder="0" webkitAllowFullScreen mozallowfullscreen allowFullScreen></iframe> <p><a href="http://vimeo.com/49957919">Jeff Whalers is Soulcraft Wakesurfing</a> from <a href="http://vimeo.com/tarekrichey">Tarek Richey</a> on <a href="http://vimeo.com">Vimeo</a>.</p> |
X 2 Jeff is a great guy. It is great to see him and Soulcraft get the recognition they deserve.
Nice tarek! Jeff is not only a master board shaper but a lot of fun to surf with too. I really enjoy ridding with he and his family behind the Soulcraft Avy and my Sanger.
I just got my 2nd Soulcraft. It's a 4'3" Jetty squash tail. I am learning to ride surf after riding only skim for so long. I love the board and how surf feels so much different than skim. |
great video....
Congrats to Jeff!! I love this guy! Won’t be long before Soulcraft is one of the top sellers, if they’re not already!! Words out!
Jeff is awesome to work with and creates some of the best wake surf boards on the market today. I have a custom Fangtail and it's my favorite board that I've ever ridden (and I've had quite a few)
I am on my 2nd Soulcraft board and my wife is on her 3rd. What is great about Jeff is that he makes a true custom board, shaped specifically for your style, your skill level, and your wake. As your skill level increases, Jeff can tweak the shape to help your progression. Thanks JW, and keep up the good work.

HI-5! to Soulcraft !
cool video. jeff is a delight to work with.
Great video for a great company!! My son loves his Jetty. I'm next.
Congrats Soulcraft for getting up on the podium at Worlds with a 1st and 2nd place by Mike and Angie Viland!!
That is so cool! Just saw the podium pics from Worlds. Mike and Angie are not great wakesurfers but really fun people to be with. Great job on those Soulcrafts!!!
I think you meant to say they are great surfers, right? Mike inspires me, and Angie sure has got my wife pushin herself also! 10 days to Polar Bear!!
Oops!!! Thanks for catching that Tony. Mike and Angie are certainly awesome wakesurfers.
I am sad to see Jeff move to San Diego but hope all is well with his endeavors!
Cant wait to get my new Soulcraft this summer. Agenda surf and Soulcraft are doing big things! Thanks Jeff! |
Why is he moving?
I'm sure one reason is,that the resins used to glass the boards is easier to work with in warm climates.
Boise vs. San Diego - that is why he is moving.
I heard that
wow, old news. Jeff has been gone since early november.
it's all in expanding the business. Jeff rocks and I hope to see more boards all over the 50 states this year. I know I did my part with 2 delivered in december and 1 more otw :) I only wish I had ridden with his family more. real genuine people... |
Yea I guess I was a little behind. That's good he is moving forward with the business. He makes an awesome product.
it really made sense for him to move. a lot of the people that help him live out that way and he is growing his business. im very happy to see that. he makes a good board and is good to deal with. very true to his word and great customer service.
It was a smart move for his business but I miss surfing with Jeff. He is such a nice guy.
