I was wondering if anyone knows if there is a wakeboard scene in Asheville. My buddy is moving out there and he is trying to get me to go with. Thanks.

I know it is a good scene around Charlote, but you will be a couple hours from there. I have seen lake lure on TV, but don't know anything about it. Check on endofropegange.com. They focus on VA, NC, and SC.

hey barry, i live in asheville, well more brevard, theres a bit of people that ride around here, but lakes like lake lure and stuff are private. Lake keowee is where most go, bout hour and 15 minute drive. Beautiful lake, tons and tons of nice wakeboarding boat, few decent riders. But asheville has a few skateparks around and some snowboarding and gets great concerts, all around good town. hope it helps

How's the water holding out up there? We are pretty low here on Wylie/Norman but holding steady.
