A friend of mine has a 06 220 and we have played with multiple weighting configurations. Speed is generally 21.5-23 depending on rider.

He has 100 in hard weight up front and typically fills the belly ballast completely and rear ballast about 3/4 with 3-4 people in boat to keep the wake clean.

It seems like anything put in over the above described causes the wake to start washing over pretty bad.

Anyone have any better configurations for weighting the 220. It is pretty good like this, but we are always looking to make it bigger. BTW - I have searched on this here and on planetnautique without much luck. Thanks in advance!

Ours worked best with all the tanks full and 150# of lead up front. The rest people and gas. I loved that set up at 24 mph and 85 feet. We never added more weight because that wake was bigger than our 210 all sacked out. Not saying it was better, just bigger/taller but not as vert. Also had the plate set at 1.
