what is a good replacement for tige handle talked to my local dealer and thay want $975.00 that just parts plus $75.00 labor hr to replace there has to be aftermarket parts that are just as good?

skidim.com

IIRC think Morse shifter/throttle is the most common. Don't get bent over at the dealership "tige". They're not cheap, but they're damn sure not 1000.

Well make sure first you know what it is. Is it cable or dbw operated? Drive by wire units are more, not sure they're $975 though.

wakemaker01 02-04-2010 3:28 PM

its a cable and has the taps switch built into it .

polarbill 02-04-2010 3:33 PM

The taps switch may screw things up. I wonder if it is worth just putting in a regular morse throttle and remote locating a rocker switch for the hydraulic plate?

wakemaker01 02-04-2010 4:39 PM

thats what i was thinking i have a shower rocker switch on dash but no shower that should work?

bfnaci 02-04-2010 6:06 PM

Brett
Got any pics of the wake behind that boat on your profile?
Its got to be enormous...

dhcomp 02-05-2010 8:03 AM

Shower rocker won't work, because you need to be able to go up/town. You need a 3-way rocker. If you know your way around 12v though, you could make a Hi/off/low heater switch work.

denverd1 02-05-2010 8:18 AM

ummmm... why not just but 3 position switch and stick it in the dash??

polarbill 02-05-2010 10:05 AM

Brent, no. It is actually my dad's boat but I am hoping to get out this summer and try some surfing behind it.

justintime 02-07-2010 2:46 PM

what happened to it?

wakemaker01 02-07-2010 6:51 PM
