Hey fellow San Diego Wakeworlders...

Got a quick question for those of you that ride San V...what times of day are the best to ride? I'm wondering if it's like everywhere else here and gets blown out in the afternoon. I'm looking at possibly doing some afternoon sessions and wanted to know if it was worth it. I live in Murrieta but will be working in San Diego for the next 3 months and was thinking about trying to ride after work. Thanks in advance for your input...hope to see you out there.

Joe,

Unfortunately, like every where, San V gets blow out and choppy by 11:00 on especially on weekends. A lot of this is from other boat wakes.

However, I've gone "after work" arriving there about 3:00 staying until sunset on Thursdays & Fridays. The last couple of hours (6-8) is the best as boats leave and the wind dies down. Give it a try.

Maybe see you out there some evening.

Andy
