What size wire to Rev 10s?

About to install some Rev 10s and my tower is currently wired with high quality 16 gauge speaker wire. Do I need to pull it out go with 14 or 12 gauge. I have gotten different responses from a few different people I've talked to. The amp is a Syn 4. Will the 16 gauge not be as loud, clear, efficient, etc? Let me know what everyone is running. Thanks!

Your high quality 16 gauge is probably much better than my cheapie 14 gauge that i put in my tower.

But the speakers still get louder than i care to turn it up so im sure your fine.

Im running pro80s and a 485 tho.

I just rewired my axis tower that was pre ran with I believe 16 gauge. It was an absolute bitch to run 3 strands of 12 gauge thru it, with the 22/2 for the LEDs. But why have 1200 bucks in gear to run 16 gauge wire ? I'll have 585 watts going to each pod so I went with 12 gauge, and I also ran 12 gauge to my in boat speakers. Sure it's overkill, and didn't want it to be a problem. I'm sure you'll be just fine with 400 watts to each pod with the 16 gauge. But 12 gauge there'd be no doubt :D

This is the stuff I used and works great comes in 4 and 8 conductor, flexible and easy to pull through tower.

This looks like the same stuff as the parts express wire for about half the price:http://www.amazon.com/GAUGE-CONDUCTO.../dp/B00BHIQPHQ
