i am about to buy a new wakeboard but i'm still not sure which one to buy. the ones i like are: vixen 132 (o'brien), 132 syn bio2 (hyperlite), and angel 130 (liquid force) all from the 2005 models. i am 13 years old and weight about 83 pounds. which do you think is the right one for me or do you have other suggestions? thanks for any advice, =)

Liquid Force all the way!
Or... go into your local ride shop and ask them if you can take a Vixen and an Angel out to "demo"...any good shop will let you
that way you can ride them both and pick whichever one you like best
good luck!
Woah girl, i almost wonder if those boards may be a little too big for ya. but if thats what you like or are used to, try a CWB Lotus 131, before you decide. and put it on with some Zeus bindings. Thats what i ride, i used to ride a Hyperlite Essence 131, then i tried the angel from liquid force, then an LF Substance 134 and a diva 134 (134 was just a little too big). The liquid force's were not bad, but my choice was by FAR my lotus. and Shan is right, any good shop will let you demo a board, if not brand new, see if they have a used one you could try, it should still give you an idea. Dont settle on ANY board you are not sure about. it took me a while, and i'm lovin' CWB. Good luck!

Hyperlite is the best way to go

me and my sister just started riding and we have a HL motive 128... we were looking at a divine though... both are beginner boards

My daughter had the hyperlite divine 134 but last month we changed to the hyperlite eden 125 model. She likes this board better as it is a three stage rocker and it's smaller. This helps her with her 360's and getting around quicker for her inverts. She has belmont bindings on the board. She is 14 and 5'5 and 120lbs. Try the board out and you might like it.... My daughter is pretty good and as she says the board rocks....

I was wondering what weight does a 139 hold?}}

Hey Jamie, why is Hyperlite the best way to go?

I ride a hyperlte too, they are simply the best!
Hyperlite honors their gear for a year... I don't know about you but I sure can put some hard core wear and tear on my board and bindings. I sent in my 04' bindings at the begining of the summer(this year) got the problem fixed (free repair/ free shipping) and on top of that they check out every part of my bindings and renforced
everything they saw that would have been a future problem. Also I read in Wake Board Mag. that bigger is better! When I bought my board last year I though it looked a little small but the guy at the Pro Shop said that a 128 for a girl like me (5'2 104lbs.) it was perfect. WRONG!
I am now getting on a 136 Hyperlte Premier DNA

have a 13 yr daughter, she rides a 03 lf balance 135 with 04 minx bindings, she loves them both. especially the bindings. she is 5'4 110 lbs

My girlfriend went from a HL divine to the new Eden and she loves it. It has help her riding tremendously.

I ride the Vixen 137 and love it!!! But I started on the Parks board so anything was an improvement!!! (Little too advanced for me) Now I'm riding awsome and don't have a single complaint about the board.

Also i tried out the motive 134 and really liked it too, but our boat shop worked me a deal on the Vixen otherwise i would have been torn!
