A friend of mine just got a smokin' deal on two 12" Alpine Type R subwoofers that were used in a display case (never hooked up though) at a local audio shop. Anyway, I agreed to help him build a box for them next weekend, but he didn't get a cutout template with the subs (i.e. no original packaging came with them). Obviously I can take one of the subs, measure it's diameter and flange width, and then back into a close approximation for a cutout, but I thought I'd try and simplify my life by asking if anyone here knew the diameter of the required cutout or had a template for this sub that they could measure for me. Anyone??? Any help would obviously be appreciately.
