Ok. I know I probably should be able to junp toeside better before trying this trick, but the more I think about it, it seems this trick would be the easier of the toeside inverts to try. Am I even close to correct on that or am I just dreaming?
I know its a toeside front roll to 180 landing.
Is it a trip flip trick off the wake or a load and release type trick?
Any pointers would be great and wish me luck for this weekend, gonna try them for the 1st time

this is how i do em....think about loading the line by leaning away from the boat...this will make you edge in with enough speed to clear the wake. make sure youre boat is rollin with enough speed to make the wake pretty hard. you dont want your front foot to mush into the wake real hard when you go to throw. stand up straight while leaning away from the boat. keep the handle at your hip. right when your lead foot gets to the top of the wake stiffen your legs and pop off. immediately after look with your head like you are trying to look into your right armpit. your body will follow your head and complete the flip and the 180. try this a handfull of times and youll be stompin' em. let me know how it works out.

ryan... I assume that putting your head to your armpit means you are goofy, or is that how you do it regular?

i could never jump toeside to easy, but then someone got me trying toside backrolls very easy probabaly easier then scarecrows. but if you want to go wiht a scarecrow. Start about 10-15 feet, put most of the weight on your back foot when you are cutting but not so much you catch your edge
and when you feel the pop of the wake just duck ur head keep your arms inclose untill about half way your arms should be fully extended. THis trick is just pretty much a natural feeling so go work on it.
the proper technique for a crow would be keeping your handle right above your hips at all times. this way you can learn a crow mobe later on... if you ever get to that point.

so bring some heat into the wake, right as your are riding up the wake let your edge back off just a hair so it trips you a bit. push the handle down and look into your front shoulder. hold on with both hands and the boat should pull you to revert. if you have to, let go with your original front hand (regular foot, left hand) when you land so it pulls you to revert.

dont drop your back shoulder when you are riding up the wake, that will cause you to look through your arms and seem like you would try to put your head through your arms. that will make it difficult to do a front roll, or grab the crow or do a crow mobe.

when you are trying crows, go ahead and start trying front rolls and grabbed crows. usually people learn the front roll and crow back to back.
good luck!

if you hit the wake right the wake pretty much does the trick for you. take a big cut and when you hit the wake wait on it. waiting for the pop is probly the most important part of this trick after you pop tuck your body and pull the handle from your front hip to your back hip and dont let go of the handle. when i was learning these i had this problem. i would let go sometimes with my back hand and my board would hit the rope while i was inverted...kinda scary

once you learn the scarecrow, it shouldnt be long before you land ts off axis 5, and if thats not incentive enough to learn your scarecrow, then i dont know what is.
