Stance widths

It is the start of a new season and a lot of things are shifting in the sport: Rope length, speed, etc. A trend that is taking hold in snowboarding is narrower stances. I'm not talking heel to heel, but really just away from the super-wide stances. Anyone seeing this yet in wakeboarding?

I rode most of last year with a little hip and knee pain at 26.5". I took a wake set and a park set at 24.5" (one in) and the pain instantly went away. I have stuck with it since. I think it wouldn't be a bad trend.

I ride the most narrow stance possible on my LF Watson and my knees and hips hurt when I have tried a wider stance in the past. I think that as more riders get older and come back from major leg injuries you will see a trend in narrower stances. The young guys I ride with still ride much wider than the older guys but it does seem to be trending back to a narrower stance.

I've used the same setting the past 3 years and going to keep using it.
I'm on a 142, middle holes at 16° No pain in knee's or hips. I'm 6,1
