wiring question
 

So I decided to put some led's in the tower speakers, so my question is.....
Can it wire the controller straight to the switch that controls the tower lights or docking lights? have a 2010 vlx with the MUX panel, but do not have tower lights. In my old vlx I had switches straight on the dash and that would have been fine. What panel am I going to look for that the MUX controls? Figured this would be better than going straight to the battery. Any pointers would be appreciated
