I purchased a '98 PS205 last fall. I plan on loading it up with 440lbs across the bach, 440lbs on each side of the engine, and 440lbs in the bow. Is the 310hp with standard trans sufficient. Also have a Acme #543 prop to install.

It should be ok. I assume that is a 4-blade prop for that boat. If so, you should be fine.

s/b fine. I run 1100lbs in my 2000 205 and it's fine

My dad has a '98 205 except we have the Corvette LT1, I love that motor. Always fires first turn and has mad power. We run a 600(550 filled to the point of bursting) in the back, 350's on the sides, another 550 in the walkthrough and last time we rode we had 8 people. the wake was tight! We have the stock 4 blade and that is what will help the mst, get a correct pitch 4 blade.<img src="http://www.wakeworld.com/MB/Discus/messages/65921/305548.jpg" alt="Upload">
