My situation is that I started wakeboarding 3 years ago and now i am absolutely CRAZY about it!!!! Where im at right now the best i can pull off are 360's. Im 17, 6' 180 lbs, live in WA, and going to college this fall and i really want to improve. We own a 17.5' bayliner w/o a tower and right now im riding a liquid force omega 139. Where do i go from here?

WELCOME TO WAKEWORLD!!!

do you have a non stretch rope? (spectra or dyneema in material?)

what boots are you using? just curious

are you jumping Toeside AND heelside? make sure you can jump both directions if not

Ride Switch! don't wait years and years later to learn to ride switch like i have. i just barely learned to jump wake to wake switch (not perfected yet though by any means) this will help you to progress better later, especially with switch landing tricks like BS180s and stuff. Also it will strengthen your muscles and reflexes and make you a safer rider in general.

Casey,
well looks like you already got a taste of WW drama. Though not directed at you, but it can get entertaining most times...

Joe,
Come on!!... are you serious. you know better than most on here that a good set of bindings can be more important than the board being ridden... unless your still riding a unidirectional board... either you are just joking or you got some grudge on me (still?)

(Message edited by wakerider111 on July 15, 2009)
