ronix laces.

Hey guys i have the 2013 ronix frank's and everytime i go to ride (boat) the laces wont stay tight at all! i sench them down and after i get up there loose then ill tighten them up on the go hit the wake once and there loose again! its crazy!:banghead::confused: paid so much for them and i love the way they feel when tight but really.

Make sure they are wet before you ride and after they are tight push in on the release tab a little so it has a good bite. That should keep them form slipping.

Justin is right, i rode ronix cells and ones for the past several years and giving an extra push down on the lace tab will help it hold that position and not release as much. I typically have to tighten my bindings after my first couple of tricks or first fall and then it usually stays nice and tight from that point on. (i have owned the '9 cells, 10' ones, '11 ones, '11cells, '12 cells). If this doesnt work for you i have replaced laces with things like thick laces or 550 paracord which often hold a little better than the typical ronix lace.

I agree with Justin's post. Get the bindings wet and tighten the laces, once tight, pull back on the outside of the tighten clip to get it to cling to the strings.

If that doesn't work, see if you can replace the strings with a little thicker boot string and get some new clips. I did this with my Company bindings. I got some Liquid Force clips from a local dealer for dirt cheap. I haven't had any issues with the new boot strings and clips.

A buddy replaced his laces with thicker ones that really worked well
