Those ultra boots crack me up. I wonder if those were designed for Ben Greenwood? <BR> <BR>The trip is looking good and there flex board looks like it compares to the other flex companies now. <BR> <BR>I started out riding liquid force then bought a ronix and didn't like the bindings, now I'm on the full faction setup and don't like the bindings, I miss my lf bindings and I kinda miss my trip I think I might get back on the liquid force wagon.

I agree Darren. There can't be that big of a market for those boots anymore. Maybe they know more than we do though.

The old Ultras were the greatest binding ever made. These look like something that the Stormtroopers in Star Wars would wear. <BR> <BR>I also like Kevin Henshaw's Recoil, uh, I mean "Flex Series."

I'm happy they brought the Ultras back. I have a pair of transits, but they don't release when you fall and result in harder beaters and more concussions (for me). I stopped using them and went back to my Ultras. Non-releaseable bindings are probably ok for wake to wake riders, but you'll get worked if you carry a lot of speed and like to land in the flats.

Honestly... when did the Ultras become a lace boot?? BOOOOOOO. Dang, all of the 2010 LF bindings look awkward so far though... like a cross pollination between an ankle cast and children's snow boots.

Base plates look like they are all one piece like 09 ronix boots...can't wait to see more stuff.

Looks like the watson on the right is a hybrid flex series. He is supposed have 3 boards this year i think. The one on the left looks real nice.

I like the ultras. those boots went unchanged (significant changes that is) longer than any other boot in history. not saying that is bad or good, just commenting <BR> <BR>i wonder if LF is using the FLY footbed for 2010 on all the high end boots (not just the limmiteds). i know it was the plan before, but things could have changed

Well the Ultras appear be the answer to my prayers. I still actively seek out and buy Exo Suctions in high quantities because there has never been a better boot in my opinion. I know where Ben Greenwood is coming from, though I don't know why he prefers Ultras over the Exos. I think the ...being careful here ...'questionable' fit of closed toe boots make their long term viability questionable as well. Maybe they'll get better, maybe not. They are definitely more than a fad but not the future standard by any means either. As they exist today, in 2009 with no release mechanism technologies on the near horizon they're not for me. I had a fall during a set this summer while testing a pair where I swear my leg was going to pop out of its socket at my hip. It wasn't a hard fall, and not from any kind of impressive height. These things had just zero give and really should have. <BR> <BR>Sorry for the aside. For me, binding evolution reached an amazing peak with the Ultra/Exo line so I'm happy to see they continue to iterate on them. Thanks for posting the pictures. All I can say is WOW! Looks good. If Greenwood has anything to do with the design on the Ultras I'd like to try them.

I remember seein an article in Alliance that Ben was designing a boot for LF finally. Pretty sure those are it.

I actually dig the look of those new ultras, they look perfect for cable. If they had a CT version even better, but maybe its design wouldnt allow it.

I already have it on my list to get a new watson setup this year. It is time for an upgrade. Since the limiteds are never in my size then I will be looking to get one of these as soon as I see one.

As far as looks go, the Henshaw is my fave, the Shane and Watson look the worst. The bottom of the Shane is not bad but the top, ugh. What the heck is that white thing? Shane boots are even uglier than the board. Too bad they made my favorite board look so ugly. <img src="http://www.wakeworld.com/MB/Discus/clipart/lol.gif" border=0>

They might grow on me as time goes on, but as of right now, these are seriously some of the ugliest boards I've ever seen. This bright-neon-on-everything phase has got to be over soon. I think that a little bit of color on the boots is cool, but come on guys.

Same here man they put bright neon squiggly lines on every board seriously?? I have seen a sneak peek of the lyman and it looks as if it has neon lines all over it too.

The Shane board and bindings look awful, although that doesn't come as a complete suprise.

Well the witness looks to be the same shape so I guess I don't have to buy a new boat board next year. That's a relief. Looks like I'm just going to find some 08 or 09 Shane bindings. I really do like the Henshaw though. I might try that out and use that at the cable. I would rock those Ultras in a second!!!

ive never had a problem with magnet dealies....in fact i prefer them. looks a lot cleaner than those clips.

i dont get the watson, shane &amp; soven bindings.... whats the deal with the "air" bags? looks like some 5$ sketcher shoes.

i do like the henshaw flex though. the ultras should have a black overlay. the clear will turn piss yellow after a week of riding. make that binding in black lf!!!!!!!

All the set ups are pretty ugly but I usually say that about every board I see then find it is usually much better looking in person.

I know Neon colors are suppose to be in again, but I can't stand the bright colors.

08 had great graphics on all of their boards, the only one i can stand out of these is the lyman
