Epoxy a carpeted mounting board to the driver side sidewall then get a waterproof box and put the stereo in the box and screw the bracket into the mounting board and install the stereo

Install it in the chevy bow tie thingy in the dash. You have room, but just barely. That's where I have mine. Works fine, no problems.

I just put mine on top of my dash where the big mirror used to be.I got one of those under dash mounts for a car stereo and flipped it over.Not water proof but I am just bieng careful of the water.
