Arco Arena (Sac Kings) to be renamed to Power Balance Pavilion

Amazing a company who had to just admit there product is a scam has the money to due this. Why couldn't I think of such a brilliant idea???? |
Very strange name and I'm shocked the company has the money for this, also. While I'm not a Kings fan.. I certainly hope they stay in Sacramento. The city needs the revenue.
Did anyone see the Mayor's quotes on the news regarding the Maloofs entertaining the idea of moving the Kings? Loved it. Kevin Johnson has my vote.. just for that. :) |
Reletively speaking its not all that expensive to buy the name rights to an arena. A few years ago I was shocked to find that Safco here in Seattle only had to pay $5 million per year.
|
This deal is being reported as $700,000 for the one year.
|
Yeah, I'm surprised at how cheap it is also. Arco was paying $750,000 a year to buy the name rights. Crazy.
|
I just can't believe a company that makes fake/fad bracelets has any money to spend like that especially when they just had to admit they have no evidence they work..... but I guess they are the one's that know how to market things
|
I read the comments below the story from the link:
"Outrageous. I give up on these people. Might as well be Snuggie Stadium." "Perfect partnership, since there is no credible evidence that the Kings are an NBA team either..." |
Hah! Damn.. that's harsh.. and hilarious. :)
|
That's too funny Jeremy. Some Dudes have those things here at work, and I will admit the "tests" they make you do are pretty interesting. That being said, those have to be the biggest scam I have ever seen. And it cracks me up that people where them here at work when I work a desk job. What...are they helping you keep your balance so you don't fall out of your chair??!
