Yo..

I'm currently in my 2nd year of wakeboarding... Found a 2003 premeire 140 on craigslist, and have been using that. My friend and I share that board, but switching bindings is a pain (he's XL I'm L). So, ya, I was thinking of getting my own board. Since I'm getting more and more addicted, thought I'd ask here to find out if anyone has an opinion on a good board for me. Here's my stats:

Age: 27
H/W: 5'9, 171lbs
Skill: Intermediate (just starting to successfully land 180s over the wake)

I'd like something that I can grow into. At the very least, what size should I go with? I'll probably be looking for a used setup (2004,2005). I currently have 2003 belmont bindings which I'm pretty happy with...

Thanks y'alls,
Nate in Sacramento

the premeire you are riding is a damn good board, although too slow for my taste. There are so many boards out there to choose from. Here are a few of my favorites CWB-absolute, Obrien-natural (the best board I've ridden) Liquid Force-shane, Gator-harris.
I wouldn't get anything over a 140

Two things: firstly, best way to tell is demo. The other, the 2007 boards are comming in soon so the 2004/2005 boards you're looking at will be even cheaper or there might be a new board that comes out that catches your eye.

If you're comfortable with the size of the 140, I would stick in that area.
