I'm just psyched and wanted to share that I am surfing for the first time tomorrow. I'm sure it will be a challenge, but I'm stoked! Wish me luck!

Tara, where are you going?

Sorry Jimmy. I didn't see your post until today. I went surfing in Pacifica (Linda Mar). Had a great time! I actually stood up on the board a few times, got knocked around by a few waves, got the feel for it. Loved it! I'd like to go again.

Sweet! Cool that you stood up! Yeah, you'll get knocked around bit. What time were you out? I was just south of there at Montara. It was kind of windy early on when I was out, but it looked like it got nicer around lunch time. I've been hitting up Pacifica or that area a good bit, since lately I've been too busy and too broke to commit to a full day on the delta. Maybe I'll see you out there, but I've been mostly going super early. Anyway, sounds like you had a fun day, so that's awesome!

It was fun! I'll go again soon. We were out there after noon. There were a lot of people where we were surfing, and that made me a little nervous. The sun was shining most of the time that we were out there, and the wind wasn't bad. My friend that took me out there said that it was a popular beginner spot. He lives right down the road.
