Is there any way make adjust MC cuise? I would like to have it be more agressive. (ie like adjusting the KMP or whatever it is called on Perfect Pass) I holds the speed real well above 23MPH but varies a few tenths at slower speeds, I would like to get this dialed in a bit better for practicing surface tricks and such.

It's not going to be as good as PP. That's just the way it works. Varying a few tenths?? Sounds pretty good for something included on the boat for free. Now if it were varying bya few miles an hour, I would look further into it.

Matt, I wouldn't call MC Cruise free, just included in the price. It's a way to increase the price of a boat by $1000 over the year before, without requiring MC to give the good people at PerfectPass their cut. I wouldn't be suprised if PerfectPass is almost completely phased out of inboard boats in the next 5 years.

IMO the MC system is as close to perfect as any speed control system gets. It isn't as user friendly as PP, but it works very well. <BR> <BR>Attila, are you actually feeling the speed difference behind the boat. When the speed is locked on my boat its nearly perfect.

I had perfect pass in my old boat and it worked well. The new boat came with the MC unit and I wasnt real pleased with it at first and considered changing it out " I actually thought I was getting perfect pass" . But after pulling a few wake surfers and getting the feel for how it works I would have to agree with Evan its not as user friendly but works very well once you get used to it . It holds speeds well at wake surfing speeds and at 18 mph for my grom wakeboarding .

To answer your question, no I can't feel it while I am being pulled, I just noticed it while driving the boat. I noticed that above 23MPH it only moved 2 tenths but when set at 21.2 it moved between .4 - .6 <BR>I don't really have much experience with PP so I didn't know if this was normal. <BR> <BR>Thanks for the intelligent input guys!

The SPEED control device that MC uses is simliar to the one Bu uses. It is designed and tested by INDMAR and works in harmony with the drive by wire (no throttle cable) system that they offer. The system works great ! <BR> <BR>The PERFECT Pass system will not go away in the next 5 years. It is the standard that is used by USA WATERSKI sanctioned boats. Especially 3 event boats. It will only get more user friendly.
