Is this one of those things that "Slings" you when you hit the wake.... I remember seeing them and thinking it was the stupidest thing ever or is it something else that I've never even heard of....
malibu usually has really good ideas so who knows

What were they ?
From what I remember it was a thing that attached to the tower, had a spring loaded/piston type deal that when you would load that line, you would also load this device and when you pop it would work like loading your line, doubletime.... it was stupid.... suppose to help with something or another, but I don't think it did

is that darin's boat cuz doesnt he have a school? could be to help poeple he teaches?
that might be a chase cam thing, you feed the rope threw and it follows you with a spot for a video camera inside i have one but it does not look anything like that
I think it is one of those sling arm things. Always confused me.
It's an air sling. http://www.airsling.com/ Darin is sponsored by them to. It says on ride the spot.com}(his camp)
Looks stupid, wouldn't want it on my boat.
"a smoother takeoff & landing has arrived"

i might be able to believe it would help getting air, but i don't see how it could ever give smoother landings.

anyone check out the Power Tower too. remote control folding tower. next thing you know there will be universal remotes for the garage door AND your tower ;)

its a really cool feel. super helpful when learning s-bends.
if you look, the rope in the picture isnt attached to it.
We know the rope isn't attached to it. He just wanted to know what it was.
Its not something you would use all the time and I can't see any benefit to a wake skater. It's more for going as huge as you can.
It's a mounted crossbow to take out jet skiers!!
Kayak rack!!!!

Wayyyy back in the day one of the first Roswell Tower extended poles was designed with a spring system. I'm pretty sure the guys laugh about it now.
