I was just wondering what other people thought about riding with a lot weight in the boat possibly shortening the life of your engine?

Also, if weighting the boat down for surfing does extra harm to the engine.

It is wakeboarding not slalom, shortening the life of you engine I believe if not servicing your boat on time.

If running an unreasonable amount of weight shortens the life of your drive train, Big Ed will be the first to know.

So far I haven't seen any evidence of this.

You do the same to your car when towing the boat.
