handle goes a flyin

Anyone else have this problem or a solution to it? Sometimes when my riders fall the rope and handle come flying back to the boat. Last weekend my buddy was in the back seat and took a hard handle to his head. Later that day I was looking back for a second when my friend fell and that handle came flying at my face luckily it hit the bimini strap before it hit me.

buy a no stretch line...

I'm guessing they're still hanging on to the rope when they fall, correct? If so, when they fall, are they fighting if or just letting the fall happen? Every now and then someone with us will try not to fall by pulling tight on the rope, and then once the fall has taken over and the handle gets pulled out, it comes a flyin'. Also, are you using a wakesurf specific rope or an elastic-style ski rope?

Not sure pretty sure ski rope as it came with the boat and its a ski boat. Where can I find a no stretch wakeboard wakesurf rope for a decent price?

I encourage you to buy a proper wake surf handle, using a full size ski or wake board handle is dangerous, as you can easily advance on the handle as you surf down the wake, if you then fall its possible put your head or arm through the handle = bad mojo.

Here ya go. Evo.com and boardco.com are always my two go-to places for anything wake related. I suggest the style of rope that looks similar to a standard wakeboard rope, but the handle much more narrow. It doesn't feel as foreign when getting up which will help the noobs. The more comfortable they feel, the better time they'll have.

I bought this body glove one. I really like the thickness and the knots.

This was the best price, it's who I ordered from. The prices everyone had for ropes/handles were ridiculous, so I searched a lot for a good deal.

This is the rope I bought.

Unfortunately I can't get a surf without a rope. But I only pull the surf boards out when the water is already ****ed up. I don't pull a tube or surf in the am. I'm religious about using the good water to board, and no power turns.
