hi,
has anyone out there had a look at the bottom of the new watson 138 board . if you stand back and look at the line of the fins it looks as if the middle fins are out of line by about 8-10mm . this is driving me mad, i have tried checking it with a rule and i can see that one fin is out of line but by about 4mm but it looks twice that amount. could this just be the check pattern on the bottom of this board creating a mad illusion or have i got a faulty one ?.

cheers dudes............

I just checked my out, and it looks align. You might have a bad board. See if you can return it, if not, then just ride without the center fins.
|
where did you buy the board?
|
i got the board from my local supplier of liquid force stuff here in England. they say that i can return the board but it will take a couple of weeks to get a new one. so i will try it without fins until they get one in stock. i thought that all boards would have been made at the same time.

thanks........

who needs a center fin?
|
I'm not that great of rider, but the watson without the center fins works alot better for me than with. Try it out.

i know it works just as well (if not better ) without the center fins. i just wanted to know if all the watson boards where the same, as i wouldn't expect a company that well known to sell a board if it was faulty.

It's possible... I remember one time our local boardshop got a couple boards from Hyperlite where the fins were out of place. We just had to send them back and everything was cool.
