Does anyone know if its out yet?

kristian 12-05-2003 5:20 AM

There arn't many around right now, so they're very hard to get a hold of, but apparently Tony (the guy who owns the company) is hoping to start taking orders after the holidays.
as far as i know there is only the one tony has and the one the cassette team has

Jim L said that it might be a while, so im goin to build my own, once i figure out how mine will work exactly i could probly put a kit together, im not sure what everything is goin to cost but im planning on spending no more than 600-700 on the whole project, Jim was tellin me they have 3 right now and the one that works best is the 6hp model, a new 6hp motor isn't cheap and that is where most of the money will go.

i no the dude that bought the first one sold, so there will be more and more of them out soon

does anyone have winch plans or ideas for winches or how many horses it would take.

spadedout41 08-24-2006 9:46 AM

its not all about the horse ... a 5.5 can do deep water starts .... it all depends on your sprockets sizes and the ratios you use ... check out Winchskating.com for more info !!!! a 6 hp engine should easy get you deepwater starts with the right ratios......hope this helps

Check out winchskatin.com. Mad site for winch building. I can build a winch for anyone that wants. I have built one for myself.

(Message edited by bigrand on August 28, 2006)

how much Ewing

bigrand 09-01-2006 2:59 PM

Depends on what you want. Do you want a torque converter? Do you want rope and a handle or just a rope?

We have 7 x 1200' reels of coated spectra left this season; it glows in the surf, and is the only cable out there made specifically for winching. They are $300 per reel.

Thanks,

Ken Land
254-731-9269
www.bulletlines.com
