Raley mistakes

I keep ending up stargazing on my raleys and basically turnin them into rolls, any tips?.... i was watchin a tutorial and think i could probably fix my problem just by looking at the tower while throwing it, any further suggestions. heres what it looks like....

Man, I bet that doesn't end well.

It looks like you are slightly on your back foot, but not enough to get you super gazed out.

I think you might be right about getting your eyes focused up. Your body follows your eyes and head, so either look at the tower or look at the shore in front of you. Also, straighten your arms, it will help you get your feet back under you.

Looks more like a backroll than a raley.Try looking at the tower and more even weighted on your board.

Def. look at the tower, have a more aggressive cut towards the wake, but keep it progressive. As soon as you feel yourself extended pull it back down, and you got it. Good Luck, I know those crashes learning raleys are brutal.

If you did land that and then carried into the flats and fell you would probably get ran over by that bass boat!!! Like everyone else said, head up, I look at the horizon to the side of the boat I am landing.
