I have landed a few but most of the time i land nose heavy and eat it. chris i would take a much mellower cut, only go wake to wake at first then take them into the flats. you'll have alot less line tension therefore youre not gonna get pulled over(lose your axis) and the handle pass will be easier. also i would hold off on the grab. seems like youre attempting to do to many things, a 3, into the flats, with a grab. learn the 3, then the grab, then go out into the flats. <BR>my guess is your probably gonna keep attempting the 3 like you are so, pull the rope a little harder to create more slack and lean a little further back(away from the boat) this will set your axis a little better.
