ive seen a post or two about speakers any other new products at any of the boat shows that people are looking forward to seeing/trying on the water?

I posted the following about the new NVS Speakers at the boat show.

They have new, light-weight enclosures (fiberglass maybe?), and a pretty sweet disconnect system that lets you pull a pin, and slide the assembly off in a couple of seconds. They also built the new enclosure to hang the speakers much higher, so now, the top of the driver sits level with the top of the tower tube. I think they said the 10" system hangs down 8 inches or something.

Lot more clearence, a lot less weight, and a sick new enclosure for those that dislike the chrome cans.

Hyperlites sub-VI board and Gators new carbon prototype boards are way cool. Something different anyway. Check 'em out. I think the sub-VI is way overpriced, but cool none the less.

I guess carbon isn't too new since CWB has been using it for a number of years, but it's neat to see something new out of these companies. I was suprised I hadn't heard more about either of those boards here on Wake World.

Did anyone see the HSE revolution volume control? I have the prototype of the production model installed on my boat and it is awesome. This is a must have accessory for any boat with an amped stereo. It automatically attenuates the stereo volume when you come off plane, so that you can talk to a down rider or a boat passenger without having to yell over the stereo. The production model has a variable attenuation level, and an aux. input (for an iPod etc.) They should be available this Spring.

There's been a few mumblings about the Sub VI here and there. One of the reasons HL justifies the high price is because the board is made using a core that's apparently real costly to make. Same goes w/ the Byerly Monarch board.

Now will people be willing to throw down for one? Hmm...we'll have to wait and see. I'm sure a few people will want one just because the next guy won't be able to afford it.
