sidekicknicholas 02-10-2008 11:13 PM

wakeboarding and bullriding sounds like a sure way to get a brokeback

zachfullwiler 02-11-2008 9:32 AM

does a mechanical bull count?

denverd1 02-11-2008 9:38 AM

it does if you were at Gilley's on Friday...

eternalshadow 02-11-2008 9:38 AM

I've got some friends that have done both.

eternalshadow 02-11-2008 9:40 AM

Oh and where's Jeff Hill and Mike Johnson???

Those two rodeo boys have done their share of giddy ups!

slowjet 02-11-2008 9:40 AM

I rode broncs all through college. Never liked the bulls much though.

waketx05 02-11-2008 9:40 AM

slowjet 02-11-2008 10:01 AM

Actually Dooie I used to travel with some guys from Australia. One guy was from Tamworth. I think that's a little north of you.

bstphen24 02-11-2008 10:05 AM

I use to trade a guy pulls to go to practice and ride broncs with him a couple years ago. Haven't got a chance to get on a bull yet, but would deffinetly like to get a chance to.

solo 02-11-2008 10:53 AM

Ross Coleman shreds on a wakeboard!

solo 02-11-2008 10:54 AM

So does Hollywood Yates!

joshbuzz 02-11-2008 11:07 AM

nacho were you at Gilleys on Friday??

I was in attendance, Brian made me resident rope B.... for the second part of the night.

cdtex14 02-11-2008 11:42 AM

I rode broncs for about 7 yrs. It ended after college. Some of the best days of my life.

wakedad33 02-11-2008 11:52 AM

Walker Texas Ranger could do it if he wanted

fijidaniel 02-11-2008 12:06 PM

Craig, did you go to college for 7 years? I guess you were on the Tarleton fast track!

cdtex14 02-11-2008 12:10 PM

ha! Yea, 2 yrs Jr college and 5 at Tarleton... Stephenville Tx is a trap! But to my defense, they gave me a Masters before I left.

slowjet 02-11-2008 12:34 PM

Craig I rode at Western Texas College. Wow good times in the Southwest Region, not sure if you were still there when I was riding, but 7 years you probably were.

wetsounds1 02-11-2008 12:55 PM

I rode bulls in college at Texas A&M. Got married after college and decided a safer career path was in order! I do miss the adrenaline rush!

cdtex14 02-11-2008 1:01 PM

good times fo sho in the SW... Something about being a broke college kid AND a broke bronc rider....

Tim, thanks for not killing yourself riding bulls so I could have rockin speakers on my boat.

bill_sloan 02-11-2008 5:39 PM

Sometimes I wakeboard with a sombrero on.

joshbuzz 02-11-2008 5:46 PM

westsidarider 02-11-2008 6:36 PM

hillbilly 02-11-2008 10:31 PM

No comment about the mech. bulls. And Yeah Mike Johnson is a bullriding sum bitch when he wants to be! Of course I kept him safe most of the time! Sorry about that one hooking you took Mike.....Much love brotha.

fijidaniel 02-12-2008 6:02 AM

The Mens Room
In the men's bathroom, an accountant, a lawyer and a cowboy were standing side-by-side using the urinal.

The accountant finished, zipped up and started washing and literally scrubbing his hands...clear up to his elbows....he used 20 paper towels before he finished. He turned to the other two men and commented, "I graduated from the University of Michigan and they taught us to be clean."

The lawyer finished, zipped up and quickly wet the tips of his fingers, grabbed one paper towel and commented, "I graduated from the University of California and they taught us to be environmentally conscious."

The cowboy zipped up and as he was walking out the door said, "I graduated from Tarleton State University and they taught us not to piss on our hands.

iluvrussell 02-12-2008 6:11 AM

i wouldnt say i ride bulls, but i go to my friends ranch and we mess with em and have em chase us. alot of fun and sometimes alot of pain.

longhornfan 02-12-2008 3:04 PM

Rode five times. Didn't take long before the adrenaline rush started turning into the, "Can't believe I escaped that car crash." feeling. Had one pretty good ride on a pretty good bull. Never got eight though.

Still my favorite sport to watch. You respect it a lot more once you've tried it. Imagine saying "Hit it" with a lot of slack in your ski rope. Only over and over again and holding the rope with one hand.

hillbilly 02-12-2008 3:35 PM

Kenneth Def. the biggest Rush I've ever felt! Miss the long drive home after a weekend of getting run over saving good friends hides.LOL

supratweaked 02-12-2008 3:41 PM

Hillbilly, I got your E-mail. Give me a call when you get a chance. What are you doing on here at at 3:35? - HJ over

whitie 02-12-2008 8:15 PM

I think Sid or Shane Steiner have a MC and can throw down

hillbilly 02-12-2008 11:53 PM

Sid was the bulldogger right? Havn't seen him at the finals last couple years, Is he still hitting the trail? What kind of boat does Ross Coleman have?

slowjet 02-13-2008 5:12 AM

Sid retired after he won the World.

bhog 02-13-2008 6:00 AM

Well not a bull rider, but rope and ride. My Wife (in one month) Barrel Races all the time. Hell she has a F350 Dually

dooie 02-13-2008 4:28 PM

for those of you who have ridden in rodeo's and got time, what is your best score?

shawna_h 02-13-2008 4:33 PM

I used to ride steers..same w/ raequel.

joshbuzz 02-13-2008 4:41 PM

Where'd you ride Shawna?? We used to spend some time in Modesto, and some of the ag towns around CA. hell what part of CA isn't ag? I was born in Bakersfield and spent alot of winter time riding sierra summit and up in NOR CAL a little, and then all the summers at Pismo beach and San Diego!!

hillbilly 02-13-2008 11:10 PM

Running barrels isn't as easy as it looks. I was talking smack to my old roommate about her not having any skills one time and she casually gave me her horse to show her how to do it. Talk about a train wreck....I almost got thrown over the highside every turn. Horses scare me LOL. Shawna I think you and Raequel got the right sport chosen now. And tell your mom and dad hello.
