Sandal Binding Repair

Just for kicks, I bought an old Neptune Scepter board off eBay. The board itself is in great shape. It's similar to the one I had when I first started riding. The bindings need some work, though. The rubber bungee strap that goes around your heel has started to dry-rot. Does anyone have experience fixing these old sandal-type bindings? I'm guessing you can still buy the hollow bungee straps, but I'm not sure where to start looking.

Actually, I do have a little experience. Its been 2 decades, but hit your local hardware store they'll have bulk surgical tubing on a spool. If they only have thin stuff double it up. To attach it, use heavy duty zip-ties.

Also, be careful. Sandal bindings are sketchy.
