I was making a bunch of wakeboard benches and getting frames from the local scrap yard.... while rooting through their stuff I found some old shopping carts.... so we made a wakeboard wheelchair... its awesome, super comfy, foot-rest, and bad-ass styling. It rolls so smooth, we've bombed some big hills already, rides like a dream. It'll be a perfect chair for our patio so I don't have to get up to get another beer, just scoot over the the fridge. I think I'll end up making some more

My camera died after only this one shot. You can get the idea

you need armrests on that thing. swivel. and polished.
arm rests for sure nick! sick though!
.......and drink holder.
Don't you have any homework........

I shouldn't laugh, I may need one of those soon!
How did you break the Recoil?
you need one of those lounge chair pads for when you're just chillin in the sun drinking that beer!
hahaha thats great.
lol... that's sweet! does it 'holds a strong edge, but breaks loose if you want it to?'
The reoil "break" was between two fin holes on the tail a crack was starting... I'm sure it would have lasted a while but SS covered it with warranty anyway so I just put it to rest, it was still okay on the water, just the crack would have eventually made it to the end of the board (I would guess) so they replaced it.

I think arm rests are in order... I think I'm giung to use the old basket part of the shopping cart to make a little tray the comes up from the side and flips over your lap... but soon as summer comes all this ambition will be gone...

and yes, I do have homework, unfortuneatly I'm at that point in the semester where it takes every ounce of determination to do the smallest little thing school related.... with that said, anyone want to hire 3/4 of an Engineer?
That is sweet. Is the board just propped up there or attached somehow?
Where the boards come together on the back there is a piece of angle iron that they are both bolted onto (some cross member of the cart), the far ends then are free so if whoever is sitting in the chair leans or rocks it'll move to let it happen insted of pulling on the bolts.... So basically 4 bolts hold it all on in the middle, and the ends are free to move depending on the sitters (?) position...like a Lazyboy kinda.
you need to get out on the water, dude!
We still have ice...
I know....just messin!!!
