I have a set of Fusion T 5.25s (feedback on these welcomed) and may need to mount them on top of the tower instead of hanging since bimini sits pretty high. I don't want to lose any headclearance since I am 6'5"... so the bimini's staying put! It took a lot to home-modify the original bimini after tower install and I'm done re-constructing. Anyway, if you have mounted your speakers this way let me know how they hold up. Thanks!

Search the archives, this was discussed about a month ago.

Here is a link to my old boat with Evids on top of a monster tower:

http://home.comcast.net/~mikeskiw/95SN-float.jpg

Works great for me, no loss of headroom.
