I go riding just about every day on Claytor Lake and all I ever see are a bunch of guys boarding. Do ANY women besides me ride there??? Come on ladies, VA lakes need your support and participation!

Hi Emily,
I ride every weekend and some during the week with my husband. We have the black and tan SSV and are past the lighthouse bridge.
Our neighbors come down from Manassas and have two girls that ride. Lance Blackmore from the
Wakeboard Camp moved from Florida and is down just about every weekend. He taught me to wakeskate this summer. Great guy. Do you have the blue Mooomba? Do you ride with your family?

We have the black and red Mobius. I ride on the Dublin Hollow/Claytor Lake Dam side. I go out w/ my family, but am trying to hook up w/ some WVA riders on our hollow. We aren't the ones with the blue Moomba, but we've seen it out once. Do you know who has the tricked out '05 X-Star on Peak Creek? Maybe this summer we can all hook up and ride. It'd be wicked to meet someone else who loves to wakeboard('cause not many people know what it even is in this county!)

Cool, thanx! We live between the house with the sea plane and Covey's Campground. Are your parents the people that live beside Dale and Tammy Hall? It is a cool lake, especially on the week nights; nothing but butter out there.

It was just flurries, but it was still snow. I think my uncle said that today it was down to 72 degrees. They're letting the lake down next week...I think. Summer can't come soon enough!

(Message edited by wakeboardnchica on October 26, 2005)

Hey, I'm about 2+ hours away but would be more than happy to hook up with you all sometime next the spring. Will check back then. Debbie

Awesome! If you're ever out at Claytor Lake this summer, just look for the black and red Mobius. You can't miss it ;cause we're the only ones on the lake w/ one that color. We board on the side of the lake that has the dam on it.
