Does anyone have this? How much does it reduce noise levels? Anyone made one out of pvc?

I have one on my Centurion Eclipse V Drive and I love it. Noise is greatly reduced at wakesurfing/wakeboarding speeds. I don't think one made out of PVC would hold up. When you put a boat in a turn it takes a lot of pressure and I would bet the PVC unit would snap. Plus you might be getting into some patent issues.
