Who's up for some Wake N Flake?

For the past 5 years a group of us wakeboard and snowboard on the same day to raise money for Wake the World. This year it is on March 2nd. Last year 83 of us did it. Hopefully we will top 100 this year. Anyone else do something similar?

What is the water temp around this time? Were from wis and looking to take a trip with my new sa. Was thinking more of first week of April.

I'm in just got a new wet suit. I had a blast last time but needed a better wet suit.

Belews creek should be in the low sixty's

Chris the water temp (at certain lakes) will be low to mid sixties or so. The air, you just never know. One year it was 83 and last year it was 48! First week of April the water is probably mid to upper sixties.

Is the lake that holds the event a public lake? Could we bring our own boat?

Public, bring your boat. We actually have 8 locations for the wake portion of the day. You will want to go to Belews Lake. It is near Stokesdale, NC.

Where should I call for hotel or resort on the lake? Any suggestions?

Unfortunately there's not much close by. Greensboro or Winston Salem is probably your best bet.
