Im looking to spend around 200 for a surfboard. I want one that you can ride both ways. I think I want a small one. Im 5 7 145lbs.

plywood might be the lowest $ amt. You can forward, sideways, or flip it over. Or, most likely you can buy a used board for cheap. Or, try a skim board which is my top pick for riding. They are the fastest in speed and turning, and they happen to be cheap ~$100-$200. Just get ready for the learning curve....

I'd seriously question any $100-200 skimboard (that's not heavily used and abused) since that much money goes into material alone for a quality board.

I thought Cabal had $119 board a year or so ago. I believe their price jumped up. They gave me a board, and it's holdn' strong.

You got a smoking deal from a rep or something then. All the Cabals I've seen were in the $350-$425 range

I was way off. For some reason I recalled seeing a Cabal board for $119, and at the end of the summer it was $200. I've certainly been wrong before. If my boat ever gets up and running they wanted to start working on different designs specific to wakes. Not even sure if they're already started, but if free is on my price, I'll keep taking 'em.
