What kind of pump can I use for a shower
 

I want to do a DIY hot water shower for my 24V to heat up life jackets and wet suits before we put them on. Whats a good cheap pump to use, I have an old mayfair aereator pump in the garage. If I mount the spliter and pump below the hot and cold lines and use gravity to prime it will that pump be good enough?

for 65$ i think this would be a much better choice as its self priming and close to the flow rate you get from the all in one shower kits. i have a high output johnson pump pressurizing the whole water system on my houseboat and its been pretty solid. the one i used is 5.2gpm but 2.9 gpm should be enough for you.

I used the Flojet On-Demand Pump, I think it is the 4.9 GPM pump. If you use an on-demand pump you don't have to wire an switches or or anything, just use a garden hose nozzle that has on and off on it and you are done. I posted a how to thread on this a couple years ago and showed all the steps...

Can you explain what a ondemand pump does. I looked at them but I but really think I under stand how they work. How do you turn it on with out a switch.

An on-demand pump has an inline pressure sensor built in to the pump. If the nozzle is turned off, the pump builds up pressure in the hose and switches off at a pre-determined PSI setting. When you turn the nozzle on, or open the valve, the psi in the hose drops and the sensor turns the pump back on. You can basically just leave the pump on all the time and it will only actually turn on when pressure in the hose drops.
