Had a heavy rain Saturday at our camp (3-4"'s in 1 hour). The boat was tied up and when we went to start it up to put it on the trailer, the gauges (speedos, rpm, oil, temp, master cruise, etc.) went nuts - needles going back and forth. Waited for them to dry out but as of yesterday, they are still going nuts. Everything else works fine (radio, bilges, ballast pumps, lights, blower, etc.)

Am bringing it up to the dealer later this week but wondering if anyone else has experienced this.

It was a very heavy rain but it is a boat and they are going to get wet.

the computer that control these (mdx?) is a sensitive beast. It could simply be a bad ground, or the mdx could have gotten hosed.

"It was a very heavy rain but it is a boat and they are going to get wet"

your gauges and interior are not mean't to get 3-4 inches of rain in an hour.

it does sound like a bad ground or connection has gotten wet...

every once in a while my gauges go haywire but i turn the key off... then on again... and it clears up and works fine...

Will keep you posted. I really baby this boat but there is nothing you can do about a thunderstorm that pops up. We live in the south and downpours are typical during the summer (not 4" in one hour but at least 1-2").
