Super Duty Crew Cab

What kind of sub encolsure are you guys doing? I have a 2001, where do you put the sub and can I just buy one already made besides the JL audio one?

JL's sub enclosures are expensive. I had a custom built box that was placed in the center console. It houses a JL 10W3, much like thier stealth box, but just saved money doing it myself. The box is sealed and is slightly smaller than the specs they suggest, but not too much. It is powered by a JL 600/4 which also powers the four door speakers. It does OK and sounds great w/ rock and hip hop as long as you are not expecting it to beat the house down. Having the sub in the console renders it useless, so if you go that route be prepared to lose all of your storage.

I have a 2 rockford fosgate P3 Shallow Mount 12's behind my rear seat powered by a kicker KX750 and it sounds pretty good for as little space as it takes up. I used to have 3 P3 Shallow mount 10's before they were stollen.....the 12's sound way better.

Here are pictures of the 10's with kicker grills that i cut to fit :)
