White or black rub rail?

Ordered new MB F21. Thinking about asking for a white rub rail. My concern would be that it might fade or yellow. Anyone have one or know if this would happen with rub rail materials made these days? Either color would be capped with a polished metal cap.

go with black, i feel like white would get very scuffed especially since most trailer poles are black

With your new boat (white and orange), I would stick with white. My first MB was all white and I had a white rub rail. It looked awesome and never turned yellow (at least not in the two years I had it).

BTW... I also had a white powdercoated tower. Something you might consider on your boat. I think it would look sick!

Go white. Worst case down the road is you replace it. Cant be more than a couple of hundred....just a guess.

Ya, on your boat (copied below), I would go with white.

Thanks for that. I was thinking about photo chopping it and seeing what it would look like. I will see if I can ask for that to be white. White tower would be cool too. Maybe a winter project next year.

You should ask MB to powdercoat it for you. They are starting to do that at the factory. It will save you a ton of headache later on.

Here is one they did a few weeks ago... this photo was taken at the factory before it shipped to dealer.

MB is powder coating ours at the factory. Price is extremely reasonable.

I've only ever seen one white tower on an MB.... my '09 TWB (pictured above). Here is an album with more pics of that boat.

LOL... tell that to Mr. Diggs! Somehow I think he'd disagree.
