I am wanting to modify a seat in my xti <BR>It's actually the ice chest that I am converting into a seat <BR>can't find the heavy gauge plastic(?) material that the other frames are made from <BR>kinda want to stay away from wood <BR>can anybody offer suggestions? <BR>thanks

Composite decking. <BR> <BR>Try Lowes or Home depot.

Try Tap Plastics you can use ABS (black) or Polystrene (white)

i think most of the coaming pads in my boat are UHMW. check with a local industrial materials (metals, plastics) supply.
