I have a problem with what I think is excess water in the water/fuel separator in my 1998 Sky Supreme. The good news is the water/fuel separator is doing the job it was meant for... the bad news is after emptying it when it was half water half fuel I ran 3 more hours and went to empty it and it was almost as bad. I just bought the boat this year from a friend and he had same type issues. Has anyone out there had a similar problem? How did they remedy it? I have a hard time believing this is "winter condensation" just because of the volume. (The tank was left empty and we are in the NW)

Over the winter your tank will gather more condensation when left empty, than when full. I'd suggest draining it completely, and also replace your fuel/water separator.

I read somewere you don't have to worry about condsation in the tanks anymore, that is was only a problem on metal tanks, not plastic ones. You aren't getting water in the vent are you?

The vent is screwed down, so i dont think so.

is more that half water in the separator sound like too much? (mine is white and looks just like an oil filter)
