I just ordered a set of doubles(4 speakers) and was wondering what kind of wiring i need and where to buy it. Do I need an amp too? Thanks

I would say yes on the amp. Its a must the head unit just doesnt have enough juice to get the tower speakers the justice they deserve. Basic speaker wire to the amp is all you will need and then the usual to hook up your amp.
