I've tried probably close to 50 wrapped hs 360's, and I keep getting worse on every attempt. My first few attempts I kept landing fine, but the rope kept yanking out of my hands. Now I can't even land on the board.
My problem is that I keep showing everyone in the boat the bottom of my board. I'm basically doing an off-axis 360 in the wrong direction. Am I pulling on the rope too much? I've been trying to keep the rope closer to me to prevent it from getting yanked out on the landings....could it be that I'm over-compensating? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Don't spin off the wake. Wait until you pop, tug on the wrap handle to initiate spin, and the rope will do the rest. If you spin too soon, you will go off axis and eat sh####t.

You don't need much height to spin these. Some riders can do ollie 3's. So, really wait to start spinning until you're well off the wake. Good luck.

ive never tried a wrapped 3 but it sounds exactly as brian stated. youre throwing it way to early. try a couple of normal wake jumps wrapped. then try the 3. wait until your 3/8 of the way across the wake to throw it/let the handle go. i bet youll be fine.
