The Truck Stop off Auburn Blvd will charge $200 to cover my swimstep. Does anyone know of another spot or is that a good price?

I did mine myself with some roll on Herculiner from O'Reilly's I got a gallon of the liner 2 rollers a brush and some scuff pads for $87 and I put 3 coats on and I really like it

I paid $60 to have my swimstep sprayed with Line-X here in Tucson, AZ

My local Line-X'er quoted me $300 to spray mine

That's crazy, my local Line-X gut wanted $50 for the step and $40 to do the underside of the engine cover.

is there any problem with it scratching the boards or being slippery when it is wet?

definitely not slippery when wet and so far I haven't scratched my board on it only thing I've worried about is the ladies scratching their knees up on it get in and out while we're chillin' and swimming

Damn I'd rather not have a swim step than have it covered in that hard sandpaper crap.

DupliColor makes a spray liner in a can that's much less abrasive. I used it on my fenders for an anti-slip coating and it's not hard on feet at all. Covered my new sub enclosure in it as well.

I like the idea. No maintenance, non-slip, and I bruise my shins on the teak anyway. At 17 years old, a little function over feature isn't going to bother me.

it is definitely low maintenance

I have Linex form the Florin Road Shop. They charged me $150 total and did a bitchen job 3 years ago.
