I have been riding an 08 PS3 141. I am going to try an 08 LTD Watson 138 this weekend. What will be the difference? Which is the preferred board on this board and how do they compare in terms of speed, pop, landings, etc. I am also going to try and ride the PS3 without the middle fin and see if it is faster. Thanks.

anyone ever compare these two, I guessing not much different?

I've never ridden the PS3 but I have the Watson. Checked out the PS3 (not sure what year, maybe it was the S4) at the board shop though, the bottom features seem about the same as the Watson from what I remember, only the tip and tail is a bit more squashed. The rocker might be different but I'm not sure, look pretty similar, I was just waiting to get my bindings sorted out so I didn't have a real good look.

i rode the Ps3 for a year, and now i ride the watson, the watson is like the Ps3, but faster, and softer landings. maybe a little more pop.

I am 5'9 180. will I notice a difference in going from 141 to 138?

rode both and currently ride the watson. the ps3 felt like the slowest board i've ever rode. the ps3 also sat a little deeper in the water. the watson is faster, pops a little higher, and lands softer. I felt like the ps3 tracked a little tighter, but that might be because it sits in the water lower. the watson is a little bit looser, but i like it like that.

edgar - did you try it out this past weekend like you said? what did you think?

I didn't because my boat was in the shop so will give it a shot this weekend (fingers crossed). Size should be fine right??
