Hey I just wanted to let everyone know how impressed I am with the customer service at slingshot. It about as great as their boards. I have been having a problem with the older recoil sidewall splitting on me so I emailed them. Within the hour i got an email from a rep asking me how they could help and then the warranty manger called me letting me know that they'd get me taken care of. At this point I was already impressed but then Jeff, the president of Slingshot, emailed me asking how he could help. This is the definition of great customer service and all other board companies should take note of how customer oriented Slingshot really is. In the end, they sent me out a brand new 09 recoil 142. I couldn't be more impressed and i will definitely be a repeat customer. Thanks again Slingshot

Dude...Slingshot's service is ridic bro! Major probs to them for sure. I have worked with their warranty dept a couple of times and one time I literally got a UPS tracking number in between emails for a warranty replacement. Major props to them man for sure. I have dealt with hyperlite and ronix warranty and NOTHING has compared to Slingshot's service, not even close! Glad to hear they hooked you up bro!

cwbs is aso top notch ,havent dealt with SS but i can tell you that cwb is quick and fare in replacement boards..

I had a board ra number set up and shipped the next bussiness day with one email and phone call ,all in 15 mins..

BTW if i wanted i could walk into any pro shop carrying cwb ,which is a ton,and just trade out the bad equiment for good also with this phone call. They prefer directly but ive been in apinch and they have let me just exchnage it at a local dealer, and fast!

Just saying..

now thats impressive seing how big a company cwb is currently..

Good to hear about Slingshot, we are looking for a few new board brands.

ya right bill.

Agreed with SS - I had an issue with a board, they let me go to a shop and take a new one right of the floor, no waiting on shipping or anything.

They were super fast an making it all right... I've delt with Ronix, Hyperlite, and CWB too but none even compare.

bill 02-20-2009 5:14 PM

Nick CWB does that for me and there are many more shops carrying cwb then SS so odds are CWB is easier, hands down! !

that goes for you too andrew

I have done it 5 straight years now and am always riding a new board every year..love it!

I too have been the recipient of stellar service from slingshot for a pair of boots that exploded.

Shortly afterward, a friend of mine also had the SS service dept go way beyond the call of duty on a relatively minor issue.

I need to try one of their board at some point.

Support companies like this. I've dealt with liquid force and had a good experience with customer service as well. Keep good companies in business, let the bad ones fall out. Props to you Slingshot.

I also have had SS pro's hand me their stuff if mine was bunk...

I had blown off some fins and Jeff House gave me bags and bags of them.... and when I was getting a new board SS told me to just call him up, see if he had an extra 09' to give to me since they hadn't shipped to stores yet and I only had 2 weeks left in my trip.

The guys at SS are something else... they bend over backwards no matter how the minor situation is.

Off the subject a bit but i was hitting some rails with the Reflex for the first time and it was alot of fun! Im from Michigan and it was just like riding threw the park on your snowboard. So easy to press! It was pretty cool.

All good here too! good to hear that service is still up even in recent times

guido 02-22-2009 9:05 AM

Glad to hear SS is taking care of their customers.

For me, customer service is as good as the shop you bought them from. NorCal Master Craft has always taken my damaged equipment and repaired it onsite. Whether is was back in the days when my Hyperlite binding overlays would tear everyother week, or now days with the occasional broken CWB.

Walk in, walk out... They handle the warranty. That's reason enough for me to support local boardshops.

Anywho... I agree. Companies like this deserve your support. The only downside is that as companies get bigger their service seems to suffer. Sad, but understandable.

wakerider111 02-22-2009 9:51 AM

^^^
Utah Water Sports has been the BEST i have dealt with so far especially with how many times they allowed me to take slingshot demos out before i had the funds to buy my own ;)

UWS and SS... you guys rock! I'll have to do bussiness with this pair again some time in the future, even despite i aint in utah anymore

flexnwake 02-23-2009 10:14 AM

Thanks for all the props and support folks!

We are super pumped and are here to make you want to ride harder and longer, so anything we can do; we'll do it...
