We need to add a softner to the water at the lake and I am going to do a UV treat as well. Anyone have either and any specific brand they reco?

We have a WaterBoss Model 900. I wouldn't take nothing for it. We have a lot of iron in our water so it's a must have for us. I've had it for over a year with zero problems. I always keep it full of salt pellets and usually dump a 40 lb. bag in a month.

Purchased mine at Ace Hardware.

I'll check them out, thanks.

Anyone know anything about a softner called Easywater? No salt pellets?

I looked into that a bit today...

Skeptical, for sure, interested to hear what others have to say...

It's good enough for Hannity. Or at least he endorses them.

I did a little more checking and they seem to be bogus from what I can tell.

Makes sense to me as the theories were referencing how electric wavelengths could properly penetrate a conductive container (pipe). farraday's cage it is called...
