Sorry I don't have one of it on my boat. It's the swim deck and steps for a MB F23 tomcat.

OEM SeaDek from CC only an option for G series boats. I had my dealer order it for my 210 so I guess it could classify as custom. Faux Teak pattern.

That does look awesome.

The teak Seadek looks really good in pictures. My next boat will likely get that on the platform.

That looks sick! What did it cost to do the floor? How long did it take to get it in?

it was $900 or so to do interior and swim platform.they charged a little more for the logos. it took maybe 3-4 weeks, it depends on how busy they are so longer in the summer..

DatTexasBoy 01-30-2013 5:43 PM

Not sure why more companies are not offering this stock. I think it's a nice look.

grant_west 01-30-2013 5:56 PM

How is this stuff holding up for people. I saw a Natique that was a year old and had 200 hrs on it and some pieces looked pretty THRASHED and needed to be replaced. I figured 5 years is a pretty good life span for carpet so what or how long do you expect Sea Deck to last? Now I fully understand that how some one uses or takes care of it can have a huge effect on how it looks, just trying to gauge what the average floor looks like after a few years VS a carpet floor

bjames 01-31-2013 9:05 AM

Did you have to give Seadeck a scale drawing for the floor cuts? or do they have that on file. Im pondering doing the same for my 09 Xstar.

They dont keep templates on file, they claim that same models may vary slightly so its all custom. You have to pay for an order form which includes clear mylar plastic sheets. Seadek will only make each piece so big so you have to come up with your own configuration. I followed the non-slip texture on the floor and had to break up the floor into 6 pieces. The plastic is thick and doesnt bend well so I used large pieces of tracing paper taped togehter to get my outlines and then transferred it to the plastic. Even then it wasnt exact but when you send the plastic to them they will print out mock templates on new plastic if you request to ( I thought it was better to test it before I dropped that much $ on em and they not be right!). They will send it back to you and you canthen cut them out and check for fit. I then made a few minor changes and sent it back. There may be an easier way but that's what I did. The hard part was deciding between the brown or gray faux teak! It looks alot better than the carpet that came with mine though.

wakecumberland 01-31-2013 11:17 AM

Dwayne, install looks great! This is just an idea, but I think it may look better if you replace the inspection hatches with black. Link below. Nice work!

Black hatch

bjames 02-13-2013 3:00 PM

I was even thinking of getting a round peice made up with holes for your fingers to twist the cap off. You can probably scan the cap on a computer and send to seadek.

zacharoo 02-13-2013 4:43 PM

Dwayne what about painting the two hatch covers black or grey. I think that would look good as well

04Xstar 02-13-2013 8:48 PM

I actually decided to have seadek make some faux teak to go on the inspection hatches. I had left over plastic so I traced them out and lined up the teak lnes and made cut outs for the indentions where you twist with your fingers. Just waiting on that now. Will post up pics when I get em back.

wakecumberland 02-14-2013 7:25 AM

Will it cover the trim ring of the hatches as well? If not you will still have that off white ring to deal with. You might still want to paint that or replace it with the black hatch. Nice work!

Mine looks brand new after one season. I take good care of my boat though. I expect it to last five years no problem.

boardman74 02-14-2013 3:59 PM

I was curious about that too because we saw an Epic demo last summer that had like 10 hours on it and the edges were already pealing up.

ktm525 02-14-2013 4:27 PM

We had it on our boat for 3 year and we put about 120 hours a year on. I sold it last September and it still looked as good as the day I put it on. We take realyy good care of our stuff. Wipe down with Babes after every use and wash and wax it 4 times a summer season. We ride all year round.

finally took a pic with the inspection hatches done

jrz1 04-25-2013 3:52 AM

Looks much better with covers done. Whole thing looks great.

RonBurgundy 04-25-2013 10:41 PM

That looks killer. Way downsides do you feel exist now that you have had this and carpet? My biggest fear is it getting hot.....one thing I can look forward to is even with direct sunlight over 100 degrees the carpet stays cool all day.
